Top FAQs around COVID-19

Q) Stores are out of stock of your products- are you having issues with your supply chain?

A) We are aware of temporary out-of-stocks at retail stores that have likely resulted from high demand due to the COVID-19 crisis. Our team is working tirelessly to ensure our products can be restocked at your local stores as quickly as possible. Securing product supply is of critical importance for our business and we have secured several months of critical raw ingredients. We can confirm that as of today, our supply chain has not been materially affected by the COVID-19 outbreak.  We will continue to provide updates as available.

Q) What is Happy Family Organics doing to restock items?

A) Our team is working tirelessly to ensure our products can be restocked on local store shelves and ecommerce sites as quickly as possible. We suggest checking our store locator to determine which stores near you typically carry the product you are looking for. Calling stores ahead of your trip to the store to ensure product availability on shelf may save you time and frustration. As many states are under ‘shelter in place, we encourage parents to check other sources for online ordering, including, Target.comWalmart.comand Instacart. We are working to distribute our stock across all channels available.

If you still need help accessing our products, please reach out to our customer service team – we are committed to helping find solutions for all our parents!

Q) How can I find formula?

A) We absolutely understand that it has been difficult to find formula, and as parents, we know how stressful that is, and are working tirelessly to keep our formula stocked. While many local stores have had difficulty restocking the shelves due to unprecedented demand, many online retailers still have it available. We have a strong supply of infant formula and are continuously prioritizing its distribution to ensure that every parent can get what they need during this difficult time. Please reach out to our customer service team via phone, email or chat (1-855-644-2779,, live chat) with the specific stage you are looking for and your zip code! We are here to help you find it!

Q) What can I expect when I place an order from the Happy Family Organics shop?

A) Product orders from our website take approximately 5-8 business days to be processed and shipped. Once shipped, it can be another 2-6 business days for the product to arrive due to delays with shipment companies during this time. We recommend avoiding bulk purchasing through our website, as it will potentially delay your order. Please reach out to our customer service team if you have questions about your order, we are happy to help!

Additionally, we encourage you to check other sources for online ordering, including and Instacart. We are working to distribute our stock across all channels available.

Q) How is Happy Family Organics providing assistance to parents in need?

A) In these difficult times, supporting one another and families who are struggling is more important than ever. We’re working with our crisis-relief partner, Good360, to bring food donations directly to families who are in need in the NYC area – where schools are closed, many businesses are shuttered, and thousands of parents are out of work. New York City is where our company was founded and where many of our team members live, and supporting our local community is the first step in our COVID-19 pandemic donation efforts. We have over 140,000 servings of organic meals and snacks headed to NYC – and more to come. If you’re looking for a way to give back to families and children in need at this time – visit their site here and learn how you can contribute to efforts through Good360!

Q) How is COVID-19 impacting your food quality/safety measures?

A) At Happy Family Organics, we are deeply committed to the safety of our employees and the food that feeds our families. We are taking the coronavirus (COVID-19) seriously and have a cross-functional team that is focused on managing through these challenging times in a thoughtful and proactive manner.

The safety and quality of our products is the highest priority for all of us. We are confident that our food safety programs continue to be effective and are working as intended. There have been no food safety issues as a result of the coronavirus, nor do we expect any.

Additionally, the FDA’s current statement on food safety as it relates to COVID-19 is as follows:

“Currently there is no evidence of food or food packaging being associated with transmission of COVID-19. Unlike foodborne gastrointestinal (GI) viruses like norovirus and hepatitis A that often make people ill through contaminated food, SARS-CoV-2, which causes COVID-19, is a virus that causes respiratory illness. Foodborne exposure to this virus is not known to be a route of transmission.” (Source: Food Safety and the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19))

We are also working actively to protect our employees. We have proactively educated our employees on the importance of taking preventative measures. We have always ensured that employees in the sites making our food are well trained in washing their hands properly, practicing good personal hygiene, and following cleaning and sanitation procedures. We artaking every precaution we can and strictly following guidance provided by the WHO, CDC, FDA and recommendations from government and local regulators.

We remain extremely vigilant and are closely monitoring the situation every day to adjust our safety measures as necessary.
