To know if a pear is ripe, check the neck. Press near the stem and look for gentle pressure. If it’s firm, let it ripen at room temperature.

When it becomes spring in the U.S., we travel to Argentina during its harvest season for our delicious organic pears.
Especially desirable for culinary use, some of the varieties we use for our recipes are D’Anjou and Williams.
